The Health Center of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County is a health institution founded by Primorje-Gorski Kotar County and provides health services in the entire county (a total of 3,582 km2, 14 cities and 22 municipalities and 536 settlements within cities and municipalities). This county health center was created in 2003 by the union of 9 health centers (Crikvenica, Čabar, Delnice, Krk, Mali Lošinj, Opatija, Rab, Rijeka and Vrbovsko).

In addition to the above, the health center has hemodialysis on Rab and Mali Lošinj, a 14-bed inpatient unit also on Mali Lošinj, and 5 mobile palliative care teams.
